Sell Your Future Staking Rewards: Speedstake Is Live on Phase Validators

Staking rewards have always worked one way: you wait.
As of today, Phase stakers have a second option: sell the rewards your stake will earn and get the SOL now, while the stake itself stays put.
It's called Speedstake, built by Pye, and it's live across every validator Phase operates.
What is Speedstake?
Speedstake is the first market for future staking rewards on any proof-of-stake network.
Until now, the rewards your stake would earn over the next few months weren't a thing you could sell. Now they are, and there's an on-chain orderbook where buyers price them.
You're not borrowing against your stake, and you're not wrapping it into another token. You're selling a specific, time-boxed stream of future rewards to a buyer who wants SOL exposure, and you're getting paid in SOL today.
One thing to be clear about: Speedstake is for native stake, SOL delegated directly to a validator through a stake account. If you hold pdSOL or $YIELD, your position is already liquid, that's what an LST is. Speedstake brings an option like that to the stake that never had one.
How does Speedstake work with a Phase validator?
The whole flow takes about a minute. You connect your wallet on your validator's Pye page, Speedstake detects your existing stake automatically, you pick a lockup term, and you sign one transaction.
Under the hood, Pye's Programmable Stake Account splits your position into two tokens. A Principal Token represents your staked SOL and redeems 1:1 when the term ends. A Reward Token represents the rewards your stake will earn over that term, and that's the piece Speedstake sells on the orderbook, where it fills at a market-priced discount.
Your stake never moves. The principal stays staked with your validator for the full term, neither Pye nor the validator can touch it, and everything settles on-chain. When the term ends, your SOL is yours to withdraw, restake, or leave exactly where it is.

Which Phase validators support Speedstake?
We didn't switch this on for one validator.
Speedstake works across every validator Phase operates: Phase and YIELD, plus the validators we run for partner teams, Magic Eden, Hylo, Raposa, Radiants, Somos, Gleam, Unruggable, and Pine Analytics. Each one has its own page on Pye.
Wherever your stake sits across that list, connect a wallet and it's detected automatically. One integration, the whole operation.
The part that matters beyond your wallet
Here's the piece we care about as operators.
Before Speedstake, a staker who needed liquidity had exactly one move: unstake.
The network loses delegated stake, the validator loses the position, and the staker eats days of deactivation time to get there.
Speedstake breaks that loop. The SOL stays delegated and keeps securing Solana, the staker gets the liquidity they were going to unstake for anyway, and validators earn a share of trading fees instead of watching delegations walk out the door. New primitives that keep stake on the network instead of pushing it off are the kind of thing we want to exist, which is why we integrated on day one.
Speedstake is live now for Phase stakers at pye.fi/validators/phase, and pye.fi/validators/yield.
Connect a wallet with an existing stake account and it does the rest.
If you'd rather keep waiting for your rewards the old way, that works too. Now it's a decision instead of a default.
